Program: Buttonhole Binding presented by Elissa Campbell
The buttonhole binding is a wonderful structure to learn because it’s quick, easy, and your book will lay flat when opened. We’ll be using Keith Smith‘s directions from Non-Adhesive Binding, Volume I (a great book, I highly recommend it). Once you learn the basics, this binding has a lot of potential for personalization. If you have done this binding before, please bring in your samples to share with the group.
Please bring the following tools/materials if you have them (I will have a limited quantity of these items available for use):
- Ruler
- Cutting mat
- X-Acto knife
- Glue stick
- Awl
- Sewing needles
- Pencil
- Sewing cradle (see what this is here)
