The University of Vermont is hosting an Edible Book Festival on Friday, April 8, 2011, from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The International Edible Book Festival began in 1999. Edible book festivals are held around the world on or about April 1. This year, Special Collections is sponsoring the first festival at UVM.
Rules: The rules are simple! Create an edible book or an edible object that is in some way related to books.

- 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Bring entries to the WID seminar room, 3rd floor of Bailey/Howe Library.
- 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. View entries and vote for best of show.
- 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Award prizes. Eat our words and play with our food!
Everyone is invited to view and eat.
